2026 Graduation Information

Date & Time

  • Sunday, May 17th at 2:00 PM
  • Location: Bramlage Coliseum, Kansas State University
  • Tickets are not required

Guest Arrival

  • Doors open at 1:00 PM
  • Guests may enter through the Northwest and Northeast entrance

Prohibited Items

KSU event staff will not enforce their clear bag policy for this event; however, all bags will be searched by Bramlage Security. The following items are prohibited:

  • Alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
  • Cans, glass bottles, coolers, picnic baskets, or insulated containers
  • Explosives or fireworks
  • Outside food and drinks (one sealed water bottle per guest is allowed)
  • Noisemakers or laser pointers
  • Live animals (except service animals that serve a medical purpose)
  • Large flags, flagpoles, or any item obstructing sightlines
  • Posters, signs, or balloons
  • Oversized strollers or umbrellas

Audience Etiquette

  • No airhorns, silly string, balloons, or noise-making devices
  • No guests allowed on the floor at any time
  • Do not throw objects
  • Standing in aisles is not permitted

Accessibility

  • Elevator access is available at the south end of Bramlage.
    • The elevator will close 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.
    • Wheelchair users may use the elevator only if they can walk to their seats in the bleachers.
  • ADA-accessible seating is available on the concourse level.
  • Live captioning will be displayed on the Jumbotron.

Student Arrival

  • Graduates must arrive by 1:15 PM and line up in order.
  • Enter through the south tunnel of Bramlage.
  • Students requiring assistance should be added to the south lot entry list.

Graduation Attire

Graduates must wear:

  • A navy blue cap & gown from Jostens (gowns purchased before the class of 2025 will not match due to fabric/color changes)
  • A white 2026 stole
  • A 2026 tassel
  • No decorations on caps

Approved cords only:

  • Red: Distinguished Service Graduate
  • Gold: GPA of 3.5+
  • Blue & White: National Honor Society
  • Silver: Leadership Cord

Note: Under House Bill No. 2498, Native American students have the right to wear tribal regalia.


Livestream

Graduation will be streamed live by MHS Student Media starting at 1:30 PM on May 17th


Grad Images

Two professional photos will be taken of each graduate:

  • One while receiving the diploma cover
  • One after exiting the stage
